Arriving at Boutique Hotel Carpe Diem, I was welcomed with warmth from Renata, who made everything feel inviting. The tranquil garden area provided a peaceful escape, perfect for unwinding after exploring. My room, the Deluxe Double Room, was spacious and beautifully decorated, making it a cozy retreat. Each afternoon, the 5:00 coffee and tea hour became a highlight, especially with the delicious orange cake. The breakfast was delightful with fresh fruits, customizable eggs, and various breads. However, there were a few moments of minor disruption. electricity went out multiple times, which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable, and I occasionally heard noise from neighboring rooms. Despite these hiccups, my stay was filled with lovely memories that I will cherish.

This little hidden gem provided such a lovely experience during my stay, especially with how close it is to the cobbled streets—just a quick walk to explore the historic town! The tropical grounds were well-kept, and the luxurious Deluxe Double Room was a cozy retreat after a day out. I absolutely loved the delightful gluten-free cake they surprised me with for my birthday and the homemade breads at breakfast were a fantastic way to start each day.

My experience at Boutique Hotel Carpe Diem was quite disappointing. Upon arrival, I faced disorganization when my transfer failed to pick me up, forcing me to take the bus unplanned.

Cozy spot with friendly vibes
Our stay was so nice! The staff made us feel like family, always ready to help with tips for the best beaches and hidden gems. Breakfast felt like home with fresh, yummy options. The room was comfy and spacious, but we had a few power cuts that got a bit annoying. The coffee lounge area was a cute touch!

The serene outdoor space featured a well-designed garden with a small pool, perfect for relaxation. The breakfast options were varied and included delicious omelettes and homemade Alentejo bread. However, a few minor issues arose, like low ceiling height on the steps that caused a head bump and occasional power interruptions. Additionally, the swimming pool could use some updates for a more polished look.
